My connection to lawn care started in 1984 when I handed out flyers around my neighbourhood looking for lawns to cut. I didn’t own a mower or any equipment, so I used whatever my customers had. By the following year, word of mouth had more than doubled my client list, and I was doing much more than cutting grass—lawn repairs, weed control, gardens and general property maintenance.

What started as a summer job eventually grew into a lawn care company serving both residential and commercial clients.

More than 40 years later, I’m still working in lawn care, but it has also become something I enjoy sharing with others.

Jeff Seeton Mowing is a little different. It’s where I take on overgrown and neglected properties, help people who could use a hand, and clean up community spaces that need some attention. Many of these projects are done completely free.

Through Jeff Seeton Lawn Care, I share the everyday side of lawn care—the work, equipment, projects and experiences I’ve picked up over the years.

I still enjoy lawn care for the same reason I did when I started: I like seeing the difference a little time and hard work can make.
